Gallery 22 carries forward the legacy of the Beverley Street Studio School, and its BSSS Gallery, to enrich the arts culture of our community.  Gallery 22 builds on the school’s goals of engaging the public with art,—offering art exhibits, non-studio classes, films, forums on art topics, and more.  It follows the school’s closure in December 2025 after 33 years in Staunton, and occupies the same space at 22 W. Beverley Street.  The BSSS Gallery Committee, not wanting to see an art gallery with a long and distinguished reputation close, started this new nonprofit entity, Gallery 22, and became its Board of Directors.
